I got a call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent, background noise like a buzzing factory, claiming to be from some “Community something or other”. Even after I asked him to say it again a few times, it was impossible to catch. Then he said I’d been charged £184 too much and needed my details for a refund. I told him that any real refund would happen through proper channels online, and they’d already have my info if it was legit. Clearly he was trying to scam me. He then started swearing and ended the call abruptly.
