SCAM / PHISHING WARNING This week alone, I've gotten about four texts from different numbers, all supposedly from a family member saying they've lost or broken their phone. They always want me to WhatsApp them on some new number instead of calling. It started with, “Hey Mum…” Which was weird since I’m actually Dad! Followed by something like, “Dropped my phone in the toilet. Got a new one, can you WhatsApp me here: 07537134291” I didn’t bother replying, just deleted and blocked the number. Feels like a scam for sure.
