Got a call from someone I didn’t recognise, babbling on about accidents and compensation. It was only after checking this site I realised it was some kind of compo call. The guy sounded foreign, barely spoke proper English and didn’t seem to get what I was saying. Honestly, it felt dodgy right from the start, like some sort of scam.

Some bloke with a foreign accent calling, said he was from solicitors. I told him straight up he was a con and asked how much he was after. He kept saying no, he was calling to tell me I could claim between £3000 and £4000. Total load of rubbish, so I just hung up on him. I reckon I’ve had well over a hundred calls this past month from these so-called solicitors.

I'm originally from India and honestly, I'm really embarrassed by some of these folks. Seems like these UK-based agents, many of whom are Indian or Pakistani and paid less than minimum wage, keep phoning me about a car crash that never happened. Ofcom really should step in and deal with these annoying calls.

They’ve kept ringing me nonstop all week, trying a bunch of times each day. I picked up once and they said it was about a car crash I supposedly had. I haven’t been in any accidents like that, so I told them they must have the wrong person but they just kept pestering me afterwards. I’ve blocked their number now and would really suggest anyone able to do the same, it’s the only way to stop them.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming he worked for some compensation firm. He said someone was trying to reach me about a car crash from a couple of years ago. I told him I don’t actually drive and then he switched to saying it was about a work accident payout. When I said I wasn’t working, he asked if my name was #my nickname# and as soon as I said yes, he just ended the call. Strange right?

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, saying he was from 'UK Claims' about a car accident from 3 years ago - which I know nothing about as I've never had a crash, nor was I driving back then. I told him straight up it's a scam and to stop calling me. He tried to convince me it wasn't, saying, 'Ma'am, this isn’t a scam.' So I just cut the call. Plus, a woman phoned me two times in the past fortnight with the same story. Proper annoying.

Some bloke rang me saying I’d been in an accident, but when I said I don’t own a car, he said maybe I was a passenger in a taxi or something. I said no again, then he said it might be a family member. They’ve been ringing me a lot lately, and today he even gave me a solicitor’s name which I checked, and it’s not real.
