It's an absolute scam, to put it bluntly. These individuals are essentially trying to persuade you to terminate your existing insurance and hand over cash for non-existent coverage, along with paperwork that will likely never arrive. They have no affiliation with Carphone Warehouse or O2, I assure you. We ended up losing £50 to their tricks. Thankfully, we managed to cancel our card afterwards, which prevented them from swindling us further. They actually rang us twice today, even after we made it clear that we have possessed the same phone number for nearly six weeks now. At the moment, I'm having a rather civil conversation via text with one of their representatives. Quite the experience!

About thirty minutes ago, we received a call from a number inquiring about our insurance and other bits. The lady mentioned she could offer us something for a fiver instead. Thankfully, our home phone rang at that moment, so we quite promptly hung up on her! 😊

This is nothing but a scam, plain and simple. These individuals are attempting to persuade you to terminate your existing insurance, only to extract more funds from you for a policy that’s entirely fictitious, along with paperwork that will never see the light of day. They bear no affiliation with Carphone Warehouse or O2 whatsoever. We ended up losing fifty quid to them - a painful lesson learned. Thankfully, we were savvy enough to cancel our card soon after, preventing them from siphoning off anything further. They’ve rung us twice today, despite our clear communication that we’ve had our own phone for nearly six weeks. At the moment, I’m engaging in a somewhat cheeky text conversation with one of their representatives.
