After seeing what others said, I guessed this was a dodgy company. I got a text saying I’d been in a no fault accident and I was owed a lot of money. Obviously, I didn’t reply - felt like a scam straight away. I’ve also reported the number to my phone provider and blocked it.

This number kept ringing me; some woman named Amy claiming she’s with Google. Biggest scam ever!!! Don’t waste your time talking to her, she’s just a total nuisance. Absolute rubbish, honestly.

I told her I was from Google, but she didn’t have a clue who I was or any details about me. I kept listening for a while before I finally told her to just ignore the number.

Got a call from a blocked number and the lady said she was Amy from Google Link, saying it was time to renew some subscription. I was suspicious so told her I'd ring back later. She then gave me this number and said to ask for Amy when I call. Felt like it might be dodgy to me.

I almost got tricked by this one! The lady claimed it was time to update our yearly subscription, but I went through our papers and realised we’ve never used this company before. It sounded pretty legit, but it’s definitely a rip-off!

Had a few calls from Amy Smith at Link Promotions, she was on about improving my business's Google listing and wanted £360 for it. She’s been pretty relentless with the phone calls, always polite and sounds legit. Amy even mentioned payments I was meant to have made before to Link Promotions, claiming they team up with Google to boost listings, but after checking my paperwork, I couldn’t find a single trace of any payment or contract. Feels dodgy to me.

Got a call from a firm claiming they were from Google. They told me I needed to pay to set up a Google listing, which is nonsense because anyone can do that for free on their own. They kept saying I already had an account with them and pushed me to renew it. Total rip-off, avoid them!
