Had this person call me loads, sounded like they had a thick accent. Kept talking about some life insurance thing and somehow knew where I lived. I tried blocking the number but they still ring me like four times every day! So annoying.

So this guy called me sayin I could get 40% off since I’m a loyal O2 customer and asked for my one-time code to apply the discount. Just then, I got a message from O2 warning me never to share that code with anyone. I wasn’t havin it, told the bloke he was a total scammer and told him to jog on.

Had a really heavy Indian accent on the other end, said they needed to ask a few questions real fast. They started off with my age and where I live, then out of nowhere asked how old my washing machine was! I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I had a couple of calls from this number in the last two days, once each day, but they didn’t bother leaving any message. When I rang back, it went to an answerphone that said the call was from O2 and everything was fine. I’m pretty sure this isn’t actually O2 though, feels similar to those dodgy calls I’ve had before pretending to be EE.
