Got a text claiming to be from Royal Mail about a parcel I was expecting. Foolishly, I clicked the link, which led to a site that looked like Royal Mail’s official one but I have my doubts it was legit. They wanted me to pay £1.99 for re-delivery. Then I realised the text had actually been sent the night before, but said the parcel was delivered the next day, which makes no sense. Shortly after, I received a call from a number that somehow bypassed my Do Not Disturb settings, saying it was Barclays warning me about fraudulent card activity. I just ended the call straight away.
