Got a call from Santander saying they need to verify a payment of £3,140 to IKEA. They asked me to ring them back at 08006895612 to sort it out. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

i just dont pick up if i dont know the number. usually just let it ring until it hits voicemail, then ignore it. blocking those calls doesnt really stop them though, they just keep comin back no matter what. total pain!

After seeing everyone say it was a BT scam, I just blocked the number straight away.

I didn’t pick up when they rang and there was no voicemail left either. A few others mentioned it might be a BT scam, which sounds pretty likely since we’ve dealt with similar calls in the past. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from someone saying there's an issue with my BT internet. Sounded sketchy to me, like some sort of scam. Didn’t give them any info, just hung up straight away. Definitely watch out for these fake tech support calls!
