On Sunday morning around 9:15, I got a message claiming Royal Mail tried to deliver something but missed me. It included a link to a site that looked pretty legit, asking for £1.99 to try delivery again. Since I’m aware we usually get a red card to pick up parcels from a nearby depot, I knew right away it was a scam.

Someone rang me saying they were from Royal Mail, telling me to pay £1.99 to get a missed parcel delivered again. The link they sent looked like a proper Post Office website, but when I looked closer, it didn’t seem legit at all. I’d already started filling in my details before I realised something was off, so I ended up cancelling my card just in case. Could be genuine, but it definitely didn’t sit right with me.
