Got a text saying it was from the NHS here in the UK, telling me I was a close contact of someone who tested positive for omicron and had to arrange a PCR test. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

Just like the other review, this call claimed to be from the NHS. They told me I’d been near someone with the omicron variant and had to ring this number to arrange a PCR test. Funny enough, I’m actually on holiday abroad at the moment, so there’s no chance I’ve come into contact with any covid cases in the UK!

Just got a message today, the 15th, saying exactly what's mentioned above. It's totally outdated though since PCR tests aren't even available anymore.

Looks like a proper scam to me. They try and get you to enter your card info for some small fee of 99p, saying it’s for a home PCR test since you’ve supposedly been near someone with Omicron. Whatever you do, don’t follow the link or hand over your credit/debit card or any personal info. Stay safe!

I just got a call from someone saying they're from the NHS or the UK Health department. They told me I'd been near someone who tested positive for Omicron variant. They said I need to arrange a PCR test right away and do the swab thing for tracing. Felt a bit off, not sure if its legit or some scam.
