4 yearsGot a text supposedly from the NHS from this number, and I ended up getting caught out by the scam. The bank told me later it was definitely a con. They managed to trick me out of nearly £4000, which was horrifying. Luckily, my bank sorted it out and refunded the whole amount no problem. They even pretended to be a call from the bank’s fraud department, which made it all seem genuine.NHS4 yearsBeware of this fraudulent operation! They ask you to arrange a Covid-19 test but ridiculously claim you need to cough up 99p for postage. After you provide your personal information-name, address, date of birth, phone number-and then enter your banking details to receive the kit, which, by the way, never shows up, they don't even deduct the 99p from my account! A week later, I received a call supposedly from my bank alerting me that someone was trying to use my card info to buy something using the last four digits. I promptly contacted my bank, only to discover that this was all a ruse; they’d snaffled my details from the testing kit application! Then, to my shock, I received another call on my mobile, and it miraculously displayed my bank's number, so I naively answered it. Again, it was the same character claiming someone was attempting to withdraw £500 from my account! I swiftly hung up and got back in touch with my bank, who assured me it was all nonsense; they hadn’t phoned me, and there was no attempt on my money at all. It turns out they spoofed the bank's number to make it seem genuine. Please exercise caution; these crooks are after the security codes you receive for any purchases made on your card. This is a huge scam!4 yearsGot a message out of the blue saying I had to get a PCR test done. Bit confusing since I wasn’t told anything before.4 yearsI reckon this is quite dodgy as I haven't stepped outside my front door in a fortnight!4 yearsJust like loads of others have said, this site totally looks like the NHS one, which makes it really believable. I reckon the NHS should really update their site and make it clearer about whether they still notify you if you’ve been near someone who tested positive. It’s quite confusing otherwise.NHS4 yearsJust got a message from +44 7563 838817 saying it’s the NHS Health Dept. They claim I’ve been near someone with Omicron and tell me to order a PCR test from swab-test-trace.com. Seems a bit suspect to me, so I’m ignoring it.UK Health Department4 yearsLooks like this scammer’s messing up his own game once more.4 yearsGot a call from 447563838817 claiming to be from the NHS about close contact with an Omicron case. They said I needed to order a PCR test kit, but then started asking for my personal info and bank details. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.UKOmicron4 yearsGot a text off this number telling me I’d been near someone with Omicron. Nah, not true - I just did a test yesterday and it came back negative. Honestly, they should find something better to do with their time. ####Omicron4 yearsGot a message supposedly from the NHS saying I've been near someone with the Omicron variant, but that doesn’t add up because I haven’t been around anyone new recently. The text urges me to arrange a PCR test through something like swab-test-trace.com. Seems dodgy to me.NHSUK Health DepartmentOmicron4 yearsGot a text from this number saying they'd been near someone with omicron, lucky I looked it up here first, these folks are really dodgy.4 yearsThis number popped up on my phone at 2:12 am today - instantly got it blocked now.4 yearsGot a message at 1.42am from 07563838817 saying I needed a PCR test because I’d been near someone with Omicron. Thing is, they don’t do PCR track and trace anymore, and they definitely wouldn’t ask for 99p postage. Totally a scam just trying to get your bank info.4 yearsI've just gotten a text prompting me to arrange a PCR test.4 yearsThis was definitely a scam.
