So, some bloke called Simon from the Post Office supposedly tried to drop off a parcel when I wasn’t home, though I definitely was. I clicked the link he sent without thinking, it looked legit at first, but then it wanted my bank card info to arrange a new delivery. The Post Office wouldn’t ask for that, not even on the first re-attempt, so I got a bit wary and decided to see if others had mentioned it here. My search engine even warned me it was risky.

Whoever answered this number must have a pretty clueless team. They rang my voicemail, and in the background, you can hear someone chatting on a different call, muttering about just getting hung up on by some annoying person. Then, the person on my voicemail got all distracted, saying something like "ooh yeah, I like that one, mate," like they were checking something else while on the phone. Me and my mates had a right laugh listening back to that voicemail!

Watch out, their latest trick is pretending to be from the post. You’ll get a message saying something like ‘Simon tried to drop off your parcel but nobody was in,’ with a dodgy link included. Whatever you do, don’t tap the link or give any details. It’s a total scam, keep well clear!
