I got a call from an automated voice saying there was a sketchy transaction on my Barclaycard, like a dodgy £220 charge at Currys. They told me to press '1' if I hadn’t done it, so I did. Then they said they'd connect me to someone to sort it out. It didn’t feel right at all, so I just hung up straight away. After that, I phoned Barclaycard myself and they told me they hadn’t made any calls like that. I sent a report to the Barclays Fraud Team at '[email protected]' and immediately blocked the number. Definitely a scam!
