Got a message about 3 in the morning, which seemed a bit strange coming from the NHS. It said I needed to take a PCR test because I'd been near someone who tested positive for Omicron, and it included a website link that I didn't bother clicking. I already had free test kits from the chemist, so I did one just to be cautious. Later, I looked up the number on this site and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I ended up deleting the message straight away! It’s mad how some folks try to profit off situations like this.

They called me up and said, without giving any details, like in other reviews, that I'd been exposed to someone who tested positive for the Omicron strain. But, from what I know, tests just show a positive result for COVID, not the exact variant. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a message from 07563393488, basically like all the others, saying ive been near someone with covid. I had a quick look at the link it gave, and honestly, it looked pretty legit, even had NHS written on it. These scammers are getting clever! The msg came through at 1.28am, i deleted it as soon as i saw it. Definitely a dodgy test alert, so dodged a bullet there.

At about 2 am on 4th May 2022, I got a text on 07563393488 while my phone was on silent. It didn’t ring, just popped up with a message claiming to be from the NHS saying I’d been in contact with someone who tested positive for Omicron and needed to order a PCR test here: https://pcr-tracing-kit.com. Seemed dodgy to me since the NHS usually recommends doing lateral flow tests first and only getting a PCR if that’s positive. Feels like a classic scam to me.
