Got a call from an asian guy saying he could sort out my debts. Then he goes on asking if I even owe anything, so I told him to explain first since he’s the one ringing me. He just hung up when I pressed him. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian or Indian accent. He asked, "Is this (my name)? This is the (mumble) Investigation Bureau." I said, "Pardon, what was that?" He repeated, "From the (mumble) Investigation Bureau." I asked him to spell the first word, and he said, "C E R D I T T." I couldn't help but laugh right away, and then he just hung up. Wonder what info he was after. Still baffled how he managed to get my name and number though?!

Got a call from an Indian man who somehow knew my name and phone number. He said he was ringing from the Citizens Advice Bureau, representing the government. He told me I had some unsecured debts (which I definitely don’t) and offered to help write them off and sort my debts. Totally misleading stuff. He was really rude and wouldn’t say who gave him my details. When I asked for his name, I couldn’t catch what he said, and then when he tried again, he just hung up. I’d seriously advise against talking to this bloke at all.

So this number 07562 526843 rang me today. I picked up but as soon as I did, they just hung up. Thought I’d look it up since I didn’t know who it was. Turns out it’s linked to loads of calls I’ve had from other numbers starting with 0845 and 0141, all asking about debts. They try loads of different numbers all over the place, so don’t bother answering. They keep calling me like 5 times a day, sometimes even till nearly 9pm!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent today, and I was already in a proper bad mood. The way she pronounced my name wrong really set me off, so I just shouted at her to get lost. Ended the call then and there, and thankfully they haven't bothered calling again.

Didnt answer the phone earlier, called it back and it went straight to an O2 voicemail. Looked it up and found loads of details. Honestly, can’t wait for them to ring me again. Feeling proper cheeky right now! Might even toss them my credit card info from an account that’s totally shut and gone for good since I tried before and it didnt work. Got six calls this morning, all saying they were from some kind of debt help service. Told them straight away to stop calling me, but they kept ringing. Ignored the second call, then on the last one I asked where they got my number from. They said I supposedly signed up for a free call online, which I never did. On the fourth call, I asked them again to remove my number or put me through to a supervisor, but the woman just hung up. Ignored the fifth call again, but on the sixth time I shouted at them to take my number off their list. Haven't heard from them since!

Got a call earlier from some cheeky lot, sounded Asian, said they were from Citizens Advice. Told me it was about some unsecured debts messing with my Experian credit rating, then straight away asked for my credit card info! Seriously?? Maybe they think that’ll work on clueless folks but not on me! Honestly, what a rubbish and laughable scam attempt! We’re not that easily fooled, mate.

Got a missed call recently and tried ringing back but it said the number wasn't valid. They phoned again the next day, and when I picked up, a guy said he was from Citizens Advice and wanted to chat about a £5000 unpaid debt. I told him I’ve no debts as I sorted a debt relief order about 18 months ago. Then they called again today saying they were from criminal investigations. I said exactly the same as before and told them to take my number off their list. The man said sorry and ended the call. I’ve now blocked the number. DON’T PICK UP!

When I asked which company I owed money to, he started singing randomly, then called me a B#tch and just hung up! This number rang me four times today. Missed the first two calls but picked up on the third. A man with a thick accent said he was from some private investigator company and that they’d been given my info because of some unpaid legal debts, asked if I was aware of it. When I said no, he just ended the call. Then the same number called me again about an hour later?? If I was older and heard phrases like legal debts and private investigation, I’d be pretty anxious.

Some bloke called ‘Eddie’ claiming to be from Microsoft about if i was the primary user of my PC. When i told him i wasn’t falling for his scam, he said i was ‘very clever’ and then just ended the call. If i had been less wary, this might’ve been a proper dodgy call.
