I got a call on my landline from an automated female voice saying my bank card was charged about £800 for Amazon orders, which I supposedly hadn’t made before. It told me to press 1 to confirm the payment or 2 to talk to fraud. I hit 2 and got through to a guy who sounded like he was somewhere noisy. He asked for my name and DOB straight away but wouldn’t say which bank he worked for. When I started asking him questions, he just hung up on me.
