I received a call from someone named Jeff, claiming to be with the National Accident Helpline. When I inquired about how he obtained my information, he abruptly hung up on me. I attempted to return the call, but all I got was an automated answering service. I then decided to send a text to the number, questioning whether it was truly the National Accident Helpline or perhaps Chris Groove from Swansea, who apparently runs the website "m.mclaim-uk.uk." Earlier today, I had received a dubious text containing a link to his site, so I finished filling out the form out of sheer curiosity to see who would reach out to me. Currently, I find myself on a call with Vodafone to discuss both of these numbers in more detail.

I received a call from this number inquiring about my mother. (I handle the insurance for her car and provided my mobile number.) The caller was representing an accident claims company, but since my mum hasn't been involved in any car mishaps, I explained that they wouldn't have anything to find on my number. To my surprise, she rang back and questioned if my mother had ingrained any manners into me, accusing me of rudeness for hanging up! Quite ironic, as she repeated the same behaviour! I should also mention, I noticed a missed call from this number while I was overseas last week.
