Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, said I owed them money. I looked it up on the official government website and found a warning about this exact scam. Apparently, they try to scare you into pressing 1 to talk to a 'caseworker' so they can rip you off. The gov site says this is just a con, and you should hang up straight away. Heard it’s mostly aimed at older folks and those who might be more trusting. Stay safe, lads!
