A loud call centre guy said he was from “British Telecom” and started spouting rubbish about “foreign hackers” using my IP to steal my identity on the dark web. He claimed he could see all the devices linked to my internet and told me to visit a simple website showing my IP address. He went on with this nonsense for about 15 minutes until the call dropped. Then he phoned me again from another number: 07365648962. I was getting fed up and ended up hanging up. After that, he tried once more from a third number: 07927823785. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
