I decided to look up the number that rang me, just to make sure it was right, and sure enough, it matched the one given by 1471. The person on the line claimed to be from Microsoft and said there was a problem with my phone being hacked. They eventually stopped talking and just ended the call. If this was a real company, I suspect someone may have spoofed their number. At first, I wasn’t quick to label this number as suspicious, especially after reading other comments, but now I’m more worried about what happened during this call and have changed my mind about it.

Got a call from someone claiming there's a parcel mix-up with Evri and they need my address to sort it out. Total rubbish. If they're truly with the delivery company, they’d already know where I live.
