Their offer for the job was £240, but only if I agreed then and there because they were already in the area. Otherwise, it’d cost £350 at another time. I said I couldn’t afford that, and after a bit of back-and-forth, they dropped the price to £120. The tree looked pretty sick, so I agreed.
