I've just received a text that reads: "FREEMSG: according to our files, you might be able to claim £3750 for your accident. You're welcome to reply positively to this message. If you wish to opt-out, just text 'quit'." It's strikingly similar to previous messages from various numbers. Although we recently had a bump, this clearly reeks of a scam, especially since we haven't shared our number with anyone. It really gets me wondering how these scoundrels managed to get hold of our contact information in the first place!

To be honest, it sounds like another one of those scams, especially since we keep our number tightly under wraps. Just curious, though - how on earth did they manage to get hold of my digits?"

Received a text saying I might be eligible for £3,750 due to an accident I supposedly had. To claim, it says I should reply with YES. However, it’s clearly a scam, especially since I've just experienced an accident and never share my number with anyone! I'm baffled-how on earth did they get my details? This is just like those dodgy messages from different numbers!
