Got a weird call from some bloke named Nigel who’s apparently peddling hidden camera stuff through this number. Proper creepy.

I had a very similar run-in to Diane’s - got an automated call warning me about fraud on my account. I just hung up straight away and rang my bank myself to check, just in case it was one of those scams. Turns out there had actually been dodgy activity a couple of days running, and Natwest had flagged it and blocked the transactions. So yeah, definitely take those calls seriously but always get in touch with your bank directly. Better to be cautious and check than to fall for a scam.
