Got a weird recorded call from a lady with a British accent claiming to be from the 'bank security team'. She said there were two dodgy charges on my card this morning - first one for £99 at 'Amazon', and the second a whopping £799 from 'Xoom'. Then she asked me to press 1 to approve or 2 to cancel and talk to someone in the 'bank security department'. Don’t bother pressing anything, it’s that classic fake panic bank scam again. Just hang up, don’t answer, and block the number straight away.
