This bloke said he was from BT Openreach, saying there was some big security problem with my home internet and that loads of my info was leaking. He asked to get into my computer, but I told him to jog on.

This number rings me like four times each day and even late into the night, but I don’t answer since I don’t know who it is.

It shows up as some high danger terror call or something... not worth picking up at all! Bloody annoying, makes my phone ring non stop, almost back to back calls. Definitely dodged a bullet by not answering.

Received a call from this number and when I picked up, the line went dead instantly. Gave it a go to call back, thinking it might be someone familiar, but the phone wouldn’t connect. It felt as if either they’d blocked my number or the line simply wasn’t in service. Most odd!

Received a call claiming to be from Openreach regarding issues with my internet. They hung up promptly, and I've since blocked the number.

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from British Telecom. Curiously, when I inquired how they obtained my number, she mentioned it was stored on their server. Naturally, I probed further, asking, “Which server exactly?” to which she replied, “Telephonica.” I then assured her that my number isn’t associated with that server, and before I knew it, she abruptly hung up on me. Quite the shifty exchange, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, and they began quizzing me about the number of devices linked to my home Wi-Fi. I told them quite firmly that I wasn't about to divulge any details, as I had no clue about their true identity.
