Got a call from a bloke using the number 07445 048742, asking if I recalled making a PPI claim about five years ago. I did make a claim, but it was more than ten years back and didn’t go anywhere. I kindly told him he’d got the wrong person and ended the call. Later, I looked up the number online, stumbled on this site, and saw loads of warnings about PPI scams. Ended up blocking the number straight away.
