Somebody tried to pull a fast one on me pretending it was about a tax refund. They sent a GOV.UK looking site that wanted all my info. Honestly, it was pretty convincing and I can imagine quite a few people might get tricked by it.

Got a call from a bloke who sounded really cheerful and actually used my name. He was going on about some kind of accident claim or something. But when I told him to take me off their calling list, he suddenly got rude and told me to feck off. Lovely chap!

Got a call from 07553 983515 claiming I owed money, which is total rubbish as I’m debt-free. I told him the call was being tracked and accused him of scamming me. He just laughed, said I was some clueless youngster and denied doing anything wrong - I’m well into my 40s! The guy was Indian and got really nasty when I pushed back, even taunting me with “how long do you want me here so you can trace it?” Don’t waste your time chatting with him, proper dodgy!

Got a call from someone saying my student loan had been sent to some debt collectors. I found it pretty funny and told him he was completely mistaken - I’m a full-time teacher and I’m fully aware of my monthly repayments. He wouldn’t hear a word I said, kept talking over me, then shouted “listen, you muppet!” before hanging up. Can’t wait for him to ring again!

Got a call from this number earlier, a woman with an Asian accent said she was from the Citizens Advice Bureau and mentioned something about my debts. I told her I don’t owe anything, then she just ended the call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
