I just got a text supposedly from HSBC saying a new payee request was sent from an unknown device. It asked me to approve or cancel it through a link that looked like https//hsbc... but I don't even have an account there! Definitely looks like a scam. Don’t click on the link. The best thing is to ring HSBC’s phishing team directly and report it, so they can investigate and take action. BEWARE!
