Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC. They told me they’d posted a letter but it got sent back to them, and now they were taking legal steps. I’ve been self employed for ages and this definitely isn’t how HMRC usually gets in touch. Plus, the fact it was from a mobile phone really made me suspicious straight away.
