Supposedly ringing as Sky Internet support, but they never used a mobile number - seriously, who still does that? I reckon the call was from a call centre somewhere like India. When I told them straight up they weren’t from Sky (how do I know? I actually work there, and they called my work line), they quickly hung up. A simple check on the number's origin would have given them the game away. We’re trained to recognise these dodgy scams and honestly, they didn’t sound very genuine at all.
