Got a scam call, so I just blocked the number.

this mike bowers people keep ringing me saying they’re enforcement officers, sayin they’re coming to my shop but never turn up. been on at me for 3 years now, calling from loads of different numbers so blocking one doesn’t work. they’re obviously dodgy, just drop the call straight away, don’t waste your time chatting to them. absolute scammers.

A man who said his name was Adrian Hall rang our company after speaking to one of the managers. He claimed there was a verbal agreement about advertising from 2017 and warned that a CCJ would be issued in his name if payments weren’t settled. He even said High Court bailiffs would be at our premises at a set time if we didn’t pay. We told him to send them over, but of course, no one showed up. Then I googled the number and found this discussion! Sounds like a nasty scam, so just watch out for this one!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from the Hereford police, demanding a hefty sum of £10,000 to supposedly unlock postcode lottery prizes. The individual’s name was Adrian Hall. I’ll be notifying the postcode lottery about this suspicious number.

someone rang me saying he was from hatford court about some old bill from 2017. he seemed fine with me noting down his number for a return call - but nope, not gonna happen. feels like a total scam to me!

some bloke rang saying he was from hert county courts, claiming i owed £1995 to clear a charge off my husband's name linked to an ad campaign for a fire mag. he insisted we hadn’t paid, even though we’ve got proof we did. now we’re stuck dealing with the bank’s fraud dept to try and recover the cash.

Got a call at my shop in Perth from 07552073382, a bloke telling me some fraud protection team was coming round. He said I had to pay over £150 or they'd come visit. Then he changed it to £409. I told him straight I reckoned it was a con. Not a single agent showed up all day. Total waste of time.

Got a call today from 07552 073382, supposedly some follow-up from Mike Bowers at Covernt House Ltd. They claimed to be from the high court's collection department, but I double-checked and there’s no trace of this with Northants High Court. After calling them, the guy on the line got really rude and actually started swearing at me before hanging up. I've decided to report this dodgy call to Action Fraud just to be safe. Looks like a proper scam.
