Got a text from this number earlier today, 28th April 21, saying it was from Barclays. It claimed there was some weird activity on my account and included a link. Just want to warn everyone, this is NOT Barclays at all! Please, don’t click the link. I’ve already reported it to the ICO and crime watch this afternoon. Stay safe!

Got a voicemail from some recorded message saying it was about tax fraud. Shortly after, I received a text warning about suspicious activity at Barclays. Funny thing is, I actually bank with the Bank of Scotland!

Got a text supposedly from Barclays saying there’s been some strange activity on my account. It warned that my card would be blocked unless I clicked the link they included. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
