I’ve figured out that it’s a complete rip-off, all thanks to the insights shared by folks here. I had an 'interview' that barely stretched to five minutes at the Andaz Hotel. They started droning on about payments for a course I’d supposedly need to take. Honestly, it reeked of something that was far too good to be genuine. After sending my note on the 10th of November, 2016, I decided to attend the HR meeting at office block 35, New Broad Street. Not that I was shocked, but it turned out both the receptionist and I could only reach the HR team via their voicemail on the number 07464224057. It appears they may also go by the name Trillium Management, though their online presence is rather scant! Just to clarify, the interview I had took place in the lounge of the Andaz hotel, which is unrelated to any dodgy dealings.

I got an email claiming they’d stumbled upon my CV and were keen for me to join them for an interview. I did a thorough dig for any information on "Key Business Systems" or "Egle Bagdonaite," but found absolutely nothing. Upon further inspection, they mentioned being affiliated with the Andaz located at 40 Liverpool Street, yet the email was all signed off as Key Business Systems. The language was appalling, and given what Sammie mentioned, I reckon it’s pretty clear this is a dodgy operation.

Out of work at the moment, I had an intriguing job proposition from Key Business Systems after my interview at a hotel not far from Liverpool Street in London. They brought me in to meet with HR to go over the contract, but then dropped a bit of a surprise - they wanted £140 upfront for an online course that every staff member was required to undertake. I told them I was skint, caught up in applying for universal credit, and fortunately they didn’t ask for my bank details. The individual mentioned they’d send a confirmation email about the HR meeting, but I’m still waiting for it to arrive. I’m really left in the dark about whether this is a scam or not; the company’s website seems rather basic, and I can’t track down any information regarding their other offices.
