I got a call about life insurance. If you don’t want to bother with it, just block the number. But heads up, they might ring you again from a different one, like I did - this time the number ended with 824. Pretty sure they've got loads of other numbers to keep trying.

I just realised that I missed a call from this number a mere five minutes ago on my landline. When I attempted to return the call, a rather irritating message popped up saying, "Oops, please check the number and try again." Naturally, I double-checked, yet the same response awaited me. So, I plugged the number into my mobile to find it completely unfamiliar-nobody I know. That’s when I thought it wise to search for the number on Google, leading me to this very page where I’m now leaving this message. I sincerely hope the caller from this number thinks better of making further attempts soon! If anyone else happens to receive a call from this number and actually answers, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share any details here. Similarly, it’d be useful for anyone else who encounters this number to inform us of what was said, if anything. I’m certainly planning to do the same if I get another ring from them; I’ve saved the number in both my mobile and landline, ensuring I’m in the know before I pick up. I encourage everyone else to do likewise!

I've received a fair few calls from this number today, but unfortunately, I was caught up at work and couldn't pick up. I attempted to return the call, only to be met with the frustrating message that the number wasn't recognised. To my mind, this has the hallmark of a nuisance caller since they didn't bother to leave a message. Genuine organisations usually drop a voicemail if they are trying to reach you for something significant, and you should be able to return their call without issues. I've decided to block this number now!

I began receiving calls from this number on my mobile just three days ago, specifically on the 14th of February, 2022. When I picked up the phone, there was nothing but silence on the other end. Attempting to return the call resulted in a message popping up that said, “the number you’re trying to reach is currently busy.” It's quite evident that this is a nuisance, so I've taken the liberty of saving the number under the label "Nuisance Caller" in my contacts and have subsequently blocked it. Job done!
