Got a phone call at 7.19 this morning with a recorded message claiming to be from my bank. Said there was some dodgy activity linked to Amazon and other places on my account. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop any money being taken. Of course, I didn’t press a thing. Sounds like a total scam to me. I’m on the TPS and used to work in Directory Enquiries, so I’m guessing these calls are just being blasted out to random numbers.
