This bloke kept ringing up, calling himself Stephen Thompson. He said he was after driving lessons with a female teacher, but the way he spoke was just proper odd, like he was getting some kind of weird thrill from the questions. He spoke with a thick north east accent. At first, he said he was from Ashington, but next time he rang, he said he was from Cramlington. By the third call, I told him straight up he’d got the wrong number. He’s kept calling since, but I just don’t pick up now. I’ve let the police know about it as well.

I’m with the others on this one, my missus has been on the receiving end of about 25 calls from the same bloke. Every time we pick up or she calls him out, he just hangs up straight away. We tried getting the Police involved, but because there’s no threats involved, they said there’s nothing they can do. It seems like he’s going after female driving instructors specifically, so someone really needs to find him and put a stop to this.

On the 7th of January, this guy rang me up here in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. I told some of the other driving instructors in our Facebook group about him. Since then, loads of us have had calls from him. I put him on my block list, but he managed to get through again last night. He’s strange, asking weird stuff about learner drivers. Obviously, he’s not after lessons, just wants to keep you chatting. If a bloke picks up, he just ends the call. He’s really annoying, but more than that, he’s someone who should be stopped before things get worse!
