I rarely pick up calls from unknown numbers but decided to answer this one anyway. The caller asked to speak with me specifically by name, claimed they were talking to me, then suddenly the line just went dead. No idea who they were. After reading the comments here, it looks like it’s one of those scams about appliance warranties. I’ve actually fallen for this type of thing before, so now I’m bracing myself for some paperwork turning up soon!

So this number 07549225528 just rang me up, and I left a comment before. Out of curiosity, I decided to ring it back to check if it’s a familiar number. Turns out, it’s Tesco mobile’s voicemail service. The thing is, I don’t have any Tesco mobile account, so I’m puzzled why they’re calling me - and why on my home phone no less?

They just wouldn’t give up, kept ringing nonstop!

These scammers claimed I didn’t want the service but still sent me documents anyway. I replied by cancelling it, but then they said I should’ve called because they don’t accept cancellations by writing. I told them that was rubbish and then the bloke said I owed £134 since it was past the cooling-off time. I told him I’d see him in court. They keep ringing me from private and withheld numbers though - blocked loads of mobiles and landlines already. One of the numbers they've called from is 07549225528.

these lot kept pestering me, saying i owed money on an extended warranty for 3 of my appliances. started off by claimin the payment was late and needed sorting straight away! i told them off big time and then they just went quiet and hung up. total muppets, honestly!

Called looking for someone who isn’t here, and as soon as I said so, they just dropped the call. Proper rude, that.

This number 07549225528 keeps leaving strange voicemails for me. Whenever I text to ask who they are, they just ring me and drop even more voicemails. Really odd behaviour!
