Got a dodgy text claiming to be from John Lewis Banking saying there was a £1799 transaction to some Ebay seller. Tried to get in touch with John Lewis to check it out, but it was after hours and no one answered! Total scam, watch out!

Got a message pretending to be from John Lewis Finance, asking me to verify a purchase. It seemed a bit fishy, so I rang up John Lewis (I do have one of their credit cards) and they told me that it wasn’t from them at all.

Got a text claiming to be from John Lewis bank saying I'd made a payment to eBay. It asked me to reply Y if I’d done it or N if I hadn't. Seemed dodgy to me, definitely a scam! Watch out for them.
