Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. She said there was an issue with my router and they’d noticed error alerts about it. She asked what kind of devices I had hooked up - whether it was a laptop, phone or PC. Then she wanted to know what brand my computer was. When I replied it was a custom build, she just immediately ended the call! As far as I know, Openreach usually only contacts you on your mobile if an engineer’s coming round to let you know when they’ll arrive.
