Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. I chose not to pick up, and they never bothered to leave me a voicemail.

Got like 10 calls from this number, proper annoying. Finally picked up after missing loads, and the bloke goes “hello, you alright?” I asked who it was, he says something about an accident I was in. Told him I haven’t had any accident and just ended the call. What a nuisance!

Someone just rang me claiming they were from the Motor Insurance Bureau, asking if I'd been in any accidents. I’m pretty sure it’s not actually MIB though, since dealing with collisions isn’t what they usually handle.

Got a call from someone just saying hi and then cutting off as soon as I asked who they were trying to get hold of. There was a lot of noise in the background, so I’m thinking it might be one of those scam call centres.

Got a call on my mobile from a bloke with an African or black accent, saying something about a car crash I supposedly had. I was like, “What car crash?” Then I told him he was trying to scam me and that the cops were recording the call. After that, he goes and calls me some horrible names before suddenly hanging up. Got these dodgy car insurance calls, it's a total scam. Last few days, I've had calls from two other numbers doing the same thing: 07521 628478 and 07742 177872. I've blocked all three now, but I reckon I'll keep getting them from new numbers since there's no proper way to stop this rubbish. Even though I'm on the TPS list, they still keep ringing me up. It's really frustrating!

This week, I've been getting loads of calls from numbers like this, supposedly about car insurance. Every time I try to ring back, it just won't go through. Picked up one of those calls today and it was some bloke with a heavy foreign accent. I told him straight up, "I don’t have a car or drive, so quit wasting my time with these scam calls!" He then started shouting, "How dare you accuse me of scamming, you f####!" and hung up on me. Total waste of time and a proper scam if you ask me.
