BACK AT IT - Got another ring from this number today so I told them off, asking why on earth they’re calling from what looks like a mobile (turns out it's Barclays Security Centre, not actually a mobile). Just to add, both times they called were about lunchtime here in the UK. I also asked why the voice kept lagging so much, then they just cut me off. Honestly, feels like a proper SCAM to me.

I got a call from some automated "woman" saying she was from the bank’s security team. She started going on about some dodgy transactions on my card, but it all sounded fishy. I hung up straight away. Since when do banks call from mobiles and not proper landlines? Totally a scam if you ask me.
