Got a call from 01316187150 saying there was a charge on my card for an Airbnb stay I never booked. They wanted me to ring back if it wasn’t me. Looks like a total scam to me! Stay alert!

Got a message from this number saying my Santander account was used on a device I don’t recognise... problem is, I don’t even hold a Santander account! Sounds like a proper scam. Stay clear of the link they sent, definitely dodgy stuff.

Got a text from this number pretending to be PayPal, saying I supposedly sent £1870.00 to a Ms Patricia J Smith on 20th Sept 2023. The message told me to ring +44(800)2088015 if I didn’t know about this. The spelling of 'recognise' was completely off, which felt dodgy straight away. I’ve never heard of this Patricia person, so I quickly logged into my actual PayPal and had a proper look at my transactions - nothing there at all. It’s clearly a scam trying to get you to call that number. Do not ring it, it’s risky!
