Had a call from someone trying to sell stuff, sounded like they were doing it all from their house. Bit odd, but I guess working from home is the way these days. Felt a bit pushy though, so I just hung up.

Some bloke rang me, said he was Michael from the Virgin Media sales department, talking about my cancellation. He seemed to have all the info about my account and suggested a nice deal to keep me on board. I agreed and asked him to send an email confirmation. When nothing turned up in my inbox, I rang Virgin directly and they had no sign of any deal - turning out it was a dodgy call. Not quite sure what the scammer was after, but it’s a bit worrying all the same.
