They called about 50 minutes ago, but I decided not to pick up. Glad I gave it a miss. After a bit of digging here, I can see I made the right call. Just people wasting my time.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me claiming he was Simon from Nationwide. He asked me to verify my postcode, even though he obviously already had it, saying it was about my mortgage payments. Thing is, I don't even have a mortgage! When I quizzed him about where Nationwide’s main office is, he just went and cut the call on me. Weird experience!

This number popped up on my missed calls earlier, and honestly, after reading what others have said, I’m glad I didn’t pick up. I can’t figure out what they hope to gain by calling random people for no clear purpose. Now, whenever they call, I just match their rudeness and make sure to waste their time just like they do with me! :)

Some woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Nationwide Building Society rang me up. She first wanted to confirm who I was and then asked for my postcode. I told her that if she was really my bank, she’d already have that info. She then said I was laughing at her, which I wasn't - I think she just heard the echo from my speakerphone. Before hanging up, she cheekily called me stupid. If that was really Nationwide, I must say that behaviour was totally unprofessional.

A lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from Nationwide Building Society called me and began by asking if I was who she thought I was, then requested my postcode. When I replied that if she was really from my bank she should already have this info, she said I was laughing at her. As she hung up, she insulted me by calling me stupid. I wasn't actually laughing; she must have mistaken the echo from her own office that was picked up on my hands-free. If she truly represented Nationwide, her behaviour was extremely unprofessional.

I got a call from someone saying he was Daniel Jones from Nationwide Building Society, but the bloke had a really strange accent that didn’t sound English at all. He told me I was still paying off a mortgage on a house I actually sold two years ago! When I asked him to explain, he just ended the call abruptly. Talk about cheeky!
