Got a call from a robot voice claiming to be from Amazon saying I’d bought something for £499. It told me to press 1 to talk to Amazon’s support if I didn’t recognise the purchase. I knew straight away it was dodgy, but I reckon some folks might fall for it. The same thing happened just yesterday, but from another phone number.
