Someone rang saying they were from EVRI, telling me the driver tried to deliver a parcel but didn't leave a tracking code. They sent a link to sort out a new delivery time but the link just wouldn’t open. They also left a phone number, which I reckon was so you'd call back after the link failed, probably to trap you in some sort of scam. Quite dodgy!

I got a text claiming to be from Wise Money Transfers about some £230 payment they said I tried to make. They included a link to "re-register" my account, which I've never even had with them. No proper bank would send something like that by text, they usually just ask you to ring them up to confirm if it’s legit or not. It was clearly a scam trying to trick me.

Got a text early this morning, something like 6:15 am, saying it was from Evri (they used to be called Hermes) about a missed parcel delivery. Straight away, it looked like a scam to me! So, I've been getting these messages claiming to be from Evri, which got me suspicious since the lad, David, seems tied up with other stuff. Funny thing is, I’m waiting for a parcel from Evri too, but apparently it hasn’t even been sent out yet. Bit of a strange coincidence, don’t you think?

So, this bloke David rang at like 3 in the morning tryin’ to deliver something. I knew straight away it was dodgy, so I made up all sorts of info just to see what they wanted. He said he was from Evri (or Hermes, whatever), and kept askin’ for all my personal details, then wanted a card number for a redelivery fee, just a tiny £1.45. Obviously, I gave him rubbish. A dead giveaway is their website - none of the links do anything except to grab your info. Proper scam if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EVRI about a parcel re-delivery. They started by asking for my postcode, which seemed normal enough. But then they went on to ask for my full address, which didn’t feel right since they should already have that if they tried delivering. The oddest part was when they wanted my Date of Birth - why would that be necessary? I reckon if I kept going, they’d try to get me to pay a redelivery charge, but really they’re after my card info. Best to just block that number straight away!

This has all the hallmarks of a scam. They keep sending the same message about "our driver David," which is a bit off. What bothers me is that I got a genuine parcel from EVRi (ordered from FatFace) just a few days before this suspicious text popped up. Makes me wonder if either EVRi or FatFace’s systems got compromised and someone’s using their customer contact lists to push these dodgy messages? Quite worrying if that’s the case.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Evri parcel delivery, sounded legit cos the way they spoke was really close to the genuine company. I’d actually received a delivery from the real Evri just the day before, so I nearly fell for it and opened the message. Luckily, I got a bit wary and decided to look up the number first!
