Received a rather cheeky text from 07544863485 roughly twenty minutes back. We’re inclined to think these chaps are trying to provoke a response, probably playing the “Who’s this?” game. Just like Rusty mentioned, it seems they’re keen to find out when your number is switched on. Quite the curious tactic, I must say!

I've encountered the same issue with the number 07544863485, linked to someone using the name "mandilana." I've got a hunch it might be a scam, but I can't quite put my finger on the details.

Received a rather peculiar message: "Hi Mandilana. Many thanks for the coffee earlier. I'm not convinced we noted your number properly. I'll give you a bell later this week. SV." Now, I can’t shake the feeling that we’ve been caught out; it’s the first time I’ve encountered such a strange ploy. I reckon they might just be on the hunt for functional mobile numbers. To make matters worse, we also got a text from 07990957934 regarding some "government debt settlement order." What a palaver! Makes one feel rather foolish, doesn’t it?

I received a call from this number, 07544863485, and the person on the other end appeared to be using the name "mandilana." I can't shake off the feeling that it might be a scam, but I can't quite put my finger on what the intention could be.
