Got a text saying it was from Natwest saying my verification code for a £100.29 spend at HOLLAND & BARRETT was 627283. It said to call 0330 133 4837 right away if I didn’t make the purchase. Seems dodgy to me!

At first I was nearly duped by this call, seemed pretty legit. But as soon as they asked for personal details, I cut off the line. Then I rang my bank myself and sorted everything out. The text said it was a Nationwide verification code for a transaction I never did - total scam.

I’m not with NatWest, yet I got this text from 07544416960 saying NatWest Alert: Your code is 627283 for a £100.29 transaction at HOLLAND & BARRETT. If you didn’t do this, ring them straight away at 0330 133 4837. Seems totally dodgy to me.
