I got a text from 447543557751 and thought I’d have a quick look at the number. Turns out it’s definitely a scam. I ended up sending the message over to the government’s scam team.

Got a message at like 1:42 in the morning, which already felt dodgy. It said something about me qualifying for a reduced energy deal or something, but I didn’t bother clicking on anything else in the text. Hard to believe any genuine company would be texting at that hour. Seems like a total scam to me.
