Got a text from 07543524347 saying GOVUK: that I qualify for a discount on my energy bill through the energy bill support scheme. The message included a link - HTTPS://energy.bill-rebate.com. When I clicked it, the site looked just like the real GOVUK page and asked for personal info. Pretty dodgy if you ask me. Stay clear, it’s a scam! H

Beware! Someone pretending to be from the government called me asking for my bank info. Don’t trust them, just block the number!

Sounds fishy to me, looked like a fake site trying to copy Gov.uk but the URL wasn’t right and loads of links didn’t work. They asked for personal info first, then pushed for your card number and even the CVC. Legit places don’t just ask for that out the blue, no way anyone should be doing that.

Got a text about a 400 quid energy rebate from OFGEM, but it’s a total scam. Don’t bother replying or clicking anything, just block the number straight away.
